Our elections are the crown jewel of our constitutional republic.
Free and fair elections don’t magically happen; they are the result of millions of Americans stepping up to serve their community. Our elections are not run from Washington, D.C., they are run state-by-state, precinct by precinct, by Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who train together and work together to ensure that every eligible voter can vote, and every legal vote is counted.
Do you have questions about our elections? Look for answers. Each state has a transparent process where members of each political party help to administer elections, everyday Americans can watch the testing of election equipment, and election officials are held accountable to the people.
Transparency, checks, and balances are in place to ensure a fair process.
We’re not focused on relitigating false and misleading claims about past elections; we want to help you find ways to serve in this one.
Our Faith in Elections Playbook provides a menu of options for you to get involved, including:
- Serving as a poll worker
- Sharing accurate information about where and how to vote
- Meeting with election officials
- Having meaningful conversations across differences
In a democracy, skepticism is necessary and welcome. Cynicism is toxic. We encourage people from communities all over the United States to find a way to get involved in our elections.
