The Executive Assistant will provide high-level executive assistance to two executives. We’re looking for this position to optimize and prioritize these executives’ time through the following responsibilities.
This role will support two to three directors with some executive assistant responsibilities along with supporting a variety of IA programs and projects. This position will require the ability to balance and prioritize multiple ongoing projects from multiple stakeholders.
We learn and demonstrate a mastery of Interfaith America methodologies, terms, and frameworks in our work and interactions.
We recognize and deliberately seek to engage communities who are not already involved in the work of pluralism, and we modulate our framing and language to involve them.
We share an extraordinary optimism for what our team can accomplish working together while fulfilling our individual responsibilities at a high level of excellence.
Our staff is our most powerful and valuable asset, and we make sound investments in the ongoing development of our professional skills.
Our staff members are deeply curious about religious diversity and are committed to modeling the traits that we teach others.
We have work ethics that align with our goals — but we aren’t workaholics. We do what it takes to get the job done while respecting the need for work/life balance … and we have fun doing it!
My favorite part about IA is our nurturing community. Every day is a learning process, and there is so much room and encouragement for growth personally and professionally. Everyone on the team is always available to help you learn, and they do so with so much love and respect. I feel like I’m home — comfortable and cared for — whenever I am at work.
– SILMA SUBA, MEDIA MANAGER & STAFF WRITER
At Interfaith America, I am privileged to work with talented colleagues who come from diverse educational and professional backgrounds – higher education, religion, business, nonprofit management, and more – to move forward a shared vision for our religiously diverse democracy. It is energizing to work for an organization that is both laser-focused on the mission and highly adaptable, where we are constantly learning from each other and from the field and innovating in new ways.
– Rebecca Russo, Senior Director of Higher Education Strategy
Working at IA is not just a job; it’s being part of a community of people focused on bringing our mission to life. We work on challenging, innovative projects that are setting a new course for how people can connect across shared values and deep differences to create a stronger Interfaith America.
– JENAN MOHAJIR, SENIOR DIRECTOR OF LEADERSHIP
