Interfaith America is bringing together a cohort of colleges and universities committed to advancing pluralism and addressing rising levels of antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of bigotry through the Prejudice to Pluralism initiative.
This cohort experience equips senior higher education leaders with knowledge, resources, and support to cultivate campus environments grounded in respect for diverse identities, engagement across deep differences, and cooperation around shared concerns.
Participating campuses receive support through a community of practice, advising from Interfaith America, and grants of $20,000 to implement campus-based projects designed to reduce prejudice and strengthen pluralism, with an emphasis on restorative practice and design.
Interfaith America is excited to announce the participating institutions for the 2026-27 academic year:

- Tufts University
- Tuskegee University
- University of California, Los Angeles
- University of Maryland–College Park
- University of Massachusetts Amherst
- Vassar College
Through this initiative, Interfaith America continues its commitment to helping higher education institutions create campus climates where diversity is a source of strength, students are prepared for leadership in a pluralistic democracy, and communities are equipped to work across difference.
