Amber Hacker

Chief of External Affairs & CFO

Amber’s passion for people, process and telling the story through numbers led her to the Chief of External Affairs & CFO role where she oversees a wide range of functions across the organization. This includes: accounting, IT, HR, talent development, operations, environmental branding, and facilities. Amber’s passion for finance has earned her the nickname “Budget Hacker” at Interfaith America, and she has been featured in Woman’s Day magazine on personal finance. She holds an MBA from American University’s Kogod School of Business, and has written for Harvard Business Review on the importance of accommodating religious diversity in the workplace. Before stepping into her current role at Interfaith America, Amber founded the organization’s Emerging Leaders program (formerly IFYC alumni).
