Virtual Event
Hear from community organizers around the country who are working with diverse faith communities to advance justice and equip citizens with the skills they need to empower their communities.
Faith communities are crucial contributors to the nation’s social safety net. Furthermore, faith leaders of color have long been building and sustaining multifaith and multiracial partnerships to promote equity and inclusion. On April 27, we hosted a conversation with community organizers in Interfaith America’s network. The interfaith leaders share how they are working with diverse faith communities to advance justice and equip citizens with the skills they need to empower their communities.
The conversation was moderated by Interfaith America’s Director of Racial Equity Initiatives Alexis Vaughan.
Panelists for the conversation:
Steven M. Harris, Interfaith America’s Black Interfaith Fellow and Senior Director of Academic Programs at the Center on Faith and Justice at Georgetown University
Rev. Dr. Cassandra Gould, Interfaith America Vote is Sacred Organizing Committee Member
