The Interfaith Triangle
The Interfaith Triangle, composed of knowledge, attitudes, and relationships, helps measure the success of interfaith cooperation.
The Interfaith Triangle
These triangles make it easy to remember the three main components of interfaith and bridgebuilding work. To be successful, you’ll need to build relationships with individuals, cultivate an attitude of curiosity toward things you may not understand, and increase your knowledgebase about different traditions and backgrounds. The wonderful thing is that you can begin with any of these three pieces. People often develop curious attitudes through a relationship they’ve built, or vice versa. Interfaith Leadership Video Series
This Interfaith Leadership Video Series module explores how attitudes about other religious and ethical traditions, knowledge of those traditions, and relationships with others of those traditions interact and influence one another. This three-way influence is known as the interfaith triangle and is exemplified in the principle known as My Pal Al.
