Our Values, Our Democracy: Assessing the Post-Midterms Landscape

November 16 at 11 AM CT
How ought we think about America and the common good after the midterm elections? In the context of hyper polarization when trust in institutions is fraying, religious and ethical leaders have a responsibility to build and strengthen our democracy.
As is the case every election cycle, the 2022 midterm election outcomes will illuminate immediate crises and moments of hope which require reflection and prioritization. Interfaith America hosted this dynamic panel conversation assessing the impact of the midterms on the strength of our democracy, exploring the current pain points and opportunities, and identifying concrete leadership opportunities for interfaith leaders to promote democratic strength.
Jenan Mohajir from IA moderated the discussion with panelists Chris Crawford, Dr. Dilara Sayeed, and the Rev. Dr. Cassandra Gould.
