Ideal both for learners who are new to interfaith leadership and for experienced interfaith leaders who are interested in joining Interfaith America’s Emerging Leaders Network. You will explore the vision, knowledge, and skills that we use to bring about the realization of a truly Interfaith America.

What You’ll Learn
When you take this course, you’ll:
- Define “interfaith leadership” and “interfaith cooperation” by meeting real-life interfaith leaders and exploring compelling case studies
- Learn about the vision, knowledge, and skills that support effective interfaith leadership
- Discover the history of interfaith cooperation in the United States and consider some of the unique opportunities and challenges of our religiously diverse democracy
- Explore the concrete ways in which interfaith cooperation strengthens communities and society
- Investigate your own religious, ethical, or philosophical inspiration for engaging in interfaith leadership
- Learn from others about their own religious, ethical, and philosophical inspirations

Interfaith America awards a professional Certificate in Interfaith Leadership to learners who EITHER:
Complete this 1.5-hour, interactive, self-paced course independently, an additional 3.5 hours through Foundations of Interfaith Leaders AND have attended an in-person Interfaith Leadership Summit during undergraduate school.
OR
Complete this 1.5-hour, interactive, self-paced course independently, an additional 3.5 hours through Foundations of Interfaith Leaders AND successfully complete one of the programs offered through the Emerging Leaders Network.
What is the Emerging Leaders Network?
Interfaith America’s Emerging Leaders Network is composed of nearly two thousand diverse, multifaceted, innovative, and motivated individuals, who influence how healthcare, business, non-profits, religious communities, government, and other sectors engage with religious diversity.
The Emerging Leaders Network inspires, equips, and connects members of our network and the institutions they serve. We inspire by sharing stories of emerging leaders creating change in their communities. We equip our leaders to make an impact with grants and learning resources. Finally, we connect them with each other through convenings and fellowships.
