What We Do
Work with us to build your institution’s capacity to engage religious and worldview diversity.
Americans say they encounter religious diversity at work more than in any other sphere of their lives (PRRI, 2019). Religious diversity is often left out of corporate inclusion strategies, but it can be an enormous asset when engaged with care. Diverse teams perform better — but only if all team members have opportunities to engage their differences and share their strengths. When leaders intentionally engage this facet of identity, they strengthen a culture of pluralism in their workplace and open up new opportunities for business growth.
Interfaith America offers keynote speeches, trainings and customized consultations to equip and support businesses to engage religious diversity in alignment with their core values.
Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith America and author of We Need to Build, is a civic leader who believes that religious diversity is an essential and inspiring dimension of American democracy. In a 20-minute keynote address, Eboo will present key trends related to religion in the workplace, share a vision for how companies can harness the power of religious diversity to bridge divides rather than spark division, and offer concrete steps leaders can take to unlock the potential of religious diversity across their teams. Following the presentation, Eboo welcomes a fireside chat-style conversation with a senior organizational leader to engage the questions and topics that matter most to you.

This approach centers on an asset-based framework and clear principles to guide behavior and engagement across diverse traditions. The process includes listening sessions with key stakeholders and exploring best practices from other leading organizations.
Interfaith America partners with companies, including Google and Starbucks, to design custom curricula for their internal learning and development platforms that equip employees to engage religious diversity and bridge divides. Each process is co-facilitated with organizational leaders to integrate with existing goals and outcomes and align with company culture. Interfaith America trainers also facilitate customized virtual or in-person trainings for teams in a variety of formats and timeframes that focus on beginner and advanced skill-building.
One effective strategy for engaging religious diversity is through faith-based ERGs, interfaith ERGs, and interfaith umbrella networks.
