Maia Moore

Maia Moore, Program Coordinator, provides support for the Emerging Leaders team, as well as assisting on a variety of grant projects. She graduated in 2018 and holds a B.A. in International Economics and Chinese Studies from Valparaiso University. Prior to working at Interfaith America, Maia has worked in different roles with the U.S. Department of State and in the higher education sector. Maia’s interest in interfaith began by befriending a religious studies scholar while living in Taiwan. Her desire for a society committed to interfaith and intercultural cooperation as well as racial equity motivated her to join Interfaith America after she returned to the United States. Outside of work, you can usually find Maia trying new recipes, reading a new book, or traveling to a new country.
