Kevin Coval

Kevin is a trusted Senior Advisor, helping to align and elevate the organizational narrative and mission via storytelling, integrating arts and culture into our work. He is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning writer, filmmaker, and journalist, who has published over a dozen books and anthologies and whose work can be found in and on The Daily Show, HBO, The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Poetry Magazine, Sarasota Magazine, Rock the Bells, Slam Magazine, and a variety of other outlets. He has served as an Executive Creative Director in both corporate and non-profit spaces, working with brands such as Apple and Nike, and was one of the original founders of IFYC. He enjoys sneaker shopping and long walks to look at graffiti with his best friend Minnow (a mini-Golden Doodle, who identifies as a baby lion). Kevin became involved in interfaith work when Hip Hop’s cultural practice gave him new agency and insight into his relationship with Judaism, Buddhism and opened up the majesty and wisdom of the world’s faiths.
