Carolyn Roncolato

Director of Academic Initiatives

As the Director of Academic Initiatives, Carolyn works with faculty across the country to develop, support, and sustain innovative interfaith studies curriculum. Carolyn has a Ph.D. in Theology, Ethics, and Human Culture from Chicago Theological Seminary where her research focused on Appalachian women. Prior to working for Interfaith America, Carolyn taught at Chicago Theological Seminary and the Center for Religion and Psychotherapy. She has led a number of workshops for religious organizations on topics including anti-racism, domestic and sexual violence, and community organizing. Carolyn lives in Rochester, NY with her husband and two kids.
