Take Our Quiz to Test How Well You Know This Week’s 3 Religious Spring Holidays
March 17, 2022

At an interfaith organization like IFYC, we often focus on the shared values between religious and philosophical traditions, the great historical figures from different faiths and perspectives who worked together towards a common goal, or how understanding diversity in America requires you to understand something about how religion impacts us all.
We’ve also learned that sometimes what brings us together … is simply carbs and a bit of joy.

When holidays and carbs converge: Green Hamantaschen
This week, we held an interfaith event highlighting three spring festivals that, for their many differences, also bring a sense of joyful community to us all. Holi, Purim, and St. Patrick’s Day all fell during the same time period this year.
Recognizing this, IFYC staff held a joint event involving a bit of education about each holiday, a lot of hamantaschen (delicious triangular cookies commonly baked during Purim), and a trivia quiz with questions about each event. Covering all three holidays, each set of questions was provided by IFYC staff from the religious background of the celebration.
If you want to learn more about any or all of the holidays, take a look at our interfaith quiz below! Enjoy!
