Conflict And Controversy

The Power of Storytelling

Mirroring the disputes and divisions we see in wider American society around fundamental issues of religion, identity, culture, and free expression, campuses are increasingly polarized environments. As students, staff, faculty, and administrators grapple with how to combat these divisions, we look at the power of storytelling to build bridges across difference. Our guest, Maham Khan, is a journalist (with credits at Chicago’s WBEZ public radio station and the Urdu Times, among other organizations) and interfaith activist with a background in telling complex national and international stories involving diversity.
