Zia Pentescu

Zia Pentescu, Program Assistant, provides support for various members of the strategic initiatives team. They hold a B.A. in English from Michigan State University, where they also studied history and education, and gained an initial interest in interfaith cooperation and non-profit development. At Interfaith America, Zia supports various projects across the emerging faith and health programs and campus partnerships, including FIVA Carolinas, the Gilead/COMPASS project, and CCCU grants. In their free time, they enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with their beloved cats. Zia is passionate about the possibilities of interfaith collaboration and believes in the potential of interreligious engagement to support equity initiatives and provide for the common good.
