The Reverend Devon Jerome Crawford is the Senior Pastor of Historic Third Baptist Church of San Francisco, the oldest Black baptist congregation west of the Rocky Mountains. A Morehouse College alumnus with theological formation at the University of Chicago Divinity School and Boston University, he has served as inaugural Staff Director of the William Monroe Trotter Collaborative for Social Justice at the Harvard Kennedy School and Campus Minister of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College. His ministry weaves prophetic preaching, public theology, civic engagement, and interfaith collaboration, rooted deeply in the Black social gospel tradition and liberation theology.
