Dr. Grant Cornwell is President Emeritus, Rollins College, where he served as President from 2015-2025, after serving for eight years as President, The College of Wooster, from 2007-2015. Previously, he was Vice President of Academic Affairs and Professor of Philosophy at St. Lawrence University. Dr. Cornwell received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Biology from St. Lawrence University, and Master of Arts and Doctorate Degrees in Philosophy from the University of Chicago. He received Honorary Doctor of Humane
Letters degrees from The College of Wooster in 2017, from St. Lawrence University in 2020, and from Rollins College is 2025.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Interfaith America, he serves on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, St. Lawrence University, and on the Board of Trustees of Lake Highland Preparatory School. He is also serving as President in Residence for the Council of Independent Colleges and as Series Editor for their forthcoming book series, On Campus: Critical Issues in Higher Education, to be published by Anthem Press.
