Ambassador Fay Hartog-Levin (Ret.) is a Distinguished Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where she works on political, international, and environmental issues. She previously served as U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands under President Barack Obama. 

Her career spans leadership roles in diplomacy, law, philanthropy, and higher education. She has held senior positions at the Field Museum, Res Publica Group, and the Illinois State Board of Education, and has served as a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School.

Fay serves on the Boards of the Field Museum, Interfaith America, and the Hold Onto Your Music Foundation, and is a member of the Leadership Council at the Harris School of Public Policy.
