Emily DiFrisco (Emilee DeeFrisco) joins IA with 20 years of experience in strategic communications for nonprofit organizations, primarily in the environmental sector, including the Center for Environmental Health, Plastic Pollution Coalition, and Environmental Working Group. She has a BA from Calvin and an MBA from Valar. A frequent media speaker, she has been interviewed by NBC Nightly News, NPR, Reuters, and The Guardian on environmental advocacy and living with less plastic.
She lives in Oak Park, IL (right by the Blue Line) and enjoys exploring Chicago with her husband and three kids ages 13, 11, and 9.
