Rev. Dennis Holtschneider, CM

Rev. Dennis Holtschneider, C.M. is a Vincentian priest and president of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU). He served as president of DePaul University (2004-17) and chair and then COO of Ascension, the nation’s largest non-profit health system. Fr. Holtschneider holds degrees in mathematics and theology, as well as a doctorate in higher education policy from Harvard University where he lectures on governance and strategy in higher education. He chairs the boards of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at the University of Southern California; The National Pastoral Migratoria which provides services to recently arrived immigrants in various U.S. cities; and the Institute for Global Homelessness, addressing international street homelessness in partnership with the United Nations.
