Introducing… Interfaith America with Eboo Patel
We are so excited to announce the launch of “Interfaith America with Eboo Patel.” Host Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith America, speaks with a rotating guest list of civic leaders and bridgebuilders working in diverse sections of American civic life. The podcast is inspired by the Islamic concept of “Deen and Dunya” — Faith and the World – which has anchored Eboo Patel’s approach to building Interfaith America, the nation’s premier civic organization focused on the positive engagement of religious diversity. Patel, a renowned interfaith leader, will be speaking with artists, intellectuals, civic leaders and politicians, people with beliefs that range from spiritualist to traditionalist, all in the hopes of illuminating the connection between cosmic visions and concrete social change.
In order to spread the incredible stories and interviews in the podcast, we are asking our network, and those new to our network, to listen and engage in intentional reflection and conversations. There are two options to engage with the podcast:
If you want to listen to the podcast, or read the transcript of an episode, and fill out a brief survey, we will share our gratitude through a $25 gift card (while supplies last)!
As a campus group
If you want to bring together a group of students, staff, faculty, or friends to discuss the podcast and your learnings, we will offer $250 for the listening party (e.g. snacks, meal, etc.). You will need to fill out a brief survey within one week of the event.
Campus faculty, staff, and administrators at two- and four-year colleges and universities in the United States are eligible for the campus group award. A campus is eligible for up to 4 awards, though each applicant can only be awarded once. Students who want to host a listening party will need to submit an endorsement from a campus employee.
Anyone in the United States, including students, community members, and beyond, can listen as an individual and share feedback. An individual is only eligible to receive the gift card once.
Interest in reviewing the podcast is happening on a rolling basis and we are providing the thank you gift cards while supplies last (there are a lot of supplies!). All interest forms must be submitted by February 1st, 2023 and all reviewing sessions must take place by February 28th, 2023. Feedback for group sessions must be submitted by March 1st, 2023. This podcast and award are generously supported by the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations.

Together we’ll try to find the good things that happen when we connect our Deen and our Dunya, our lives of faith, and our lives in the material world.
