Muhammad Ali: An Interfaith Leader Before We Knew What That Was Image

IA President, Eboo Patel, in conversation about Muhammad Ali and his legacy of interfaith cooperation with filmmaker, David McMahon, and public intellectual, Donna Auston. Coinciding with the release of a four part film by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns & McMahon, Muhammad Ali, this dynamic group explores the complexity of Ali, from his refusal to fight in the Vietnam War, membership in the Nation of Islam, and experience as a public figure and proud Black man in America. Now one of the most celebrated men of the last century, Muhammad Ali’s ability to connect with so many, demand more of his country, and pursue greatness has much to teach us all.
